After the event, Debaman detailed the goals and benefits of the new initiative to the media. “ADC management is committed to helping the economically weaker segments of the community,” he said. “By providing loans to purchase electric vehicles at low interest rates through rural banks, we aim to help the poor of all castes in the ADC region achieve economic independence.”

Debama stressed that interested candidates can apply for loans online starting today. He detailed the financial structure of the program, explaining, “ADC Management will cover 20 percent of the cost of the purchase. The remaining amount will be lent by the bank at an interest rate of 6 percent.”

To facilitate this initiative, the government has signed an agreement with Mahindra. In addition, Debbarma also announced plans to establish vehicle charging stations in each area of the ADC to support new electric vehicles. “Currently, ADC is responsible for managing 587 village councils and in the first phase, we will distribute electric vehicles to 600 people,” he said.
